Born in Perth Amboy, Ted is a life long resident of New Jersey. After graduating from Rutgers University and Dickenson School of Law, he began practicing law in the Watchung-Warren area.

He specializes in representing banks in closing secured loans and real estate transactions.

Ted has a long history of service to the Jewish community which includes membership on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Association of Center’s and Y’s and the Board of Trustees of Temple Sholom , Bridgewater , New Jersey. Ted was member of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Federation of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties from 1984 through 1992 and served as its president form 1987 to 1989. 

Ted also volunteers his time with the Perlman Suncost Winter Residency. That program provides advanced training of young classical musical proteges in Sarasota, Florida. 

A growing involvement with Chabad has produced a sense of spiritual satisfaction and a valued friendship with Rabbi Krinsky.

Ted and his wife of forty-five years, Elaine, are the proud parents and in-laws of David and Lisa Gast and Julie and Jonathan Feinberg. Even better, according to Ted, they are the grandparents of Zoe, Marley, Leo , Joshua and Zackery.
